Albert Hernandez Manager
Albert Hernandez was selected as the Chief of DTSC’s Office of Civil Rights in August, 2012. Previously, Hernandez served as an EEO Specialist for DTSC for four years. He began his career with the state as an Office Assistant in the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). He quickly moved up to the position of Associate Governmental Program Analyst. In 2005, Hernandez began working for the Office of Civil Rights within the CDRC as a trainer. In 2007, he was selected to be an investigator within the OCR. One year later, Hernandez moved to DTSC as an EEO Specialist. Prior to working for the state of California, Hernandez served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer.
