Vicki L. Vandergriff, Deputy Director, Administrative Services
Ms. Vandergriff was appointed to this position after beginning her career with the California Department of Health Services. She transferred to the Toxic Substances Control Program in August, 1985 as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst. At the time, DTSC was a part of the Department of Health Services. She worked in the Site Mitigation Program in various capacities until July 1997, when she was promoted to the Chief, Budgets and Fiscal Systems. Ms. Vandergriff brings extensive DTSC program and budget knowledge to her position. Ms. Vandergriff holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Kentucky. Vicki L. Vandergirff is DTSC's Deputy Director of Administrative Services. She directs administrative services for an organization of approximately 1,000 staff in nine locations statewide with an annual budget of more than $175 million. Ms. Vandergriff's responsibilities include managing over 100 staff members in fiscal operations, budget development and management, contracts and procurement, human resources, labor relations, business services, and facilities management.
