Leadership Council

The Green Chemistry Leadership Council provides a forum for periodic updates on the status of the Green Chemistry Initiative and to discuss policy issues as the Initiative moves forward. The Council will be reviewing the work of staff as they:

Identify existing programs governing the management of toxic chemicals.
Identify additional state agency needs with respect to a comprehensive chemicals policy.
Assess and evaluate comments received from external stakeholders.

This process will result in the creation of a list of potential options in the areas of data, research, and implementation tools (programs, incentives, or regulations). The Council will evaluate the options presented and craft recommendations for a comprehensive chemicals policy.
