• Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District (SBCAPCD) New Incentive Program for Auto Repair Shops
  This incentive program helps auto repair shop owners buy new, less polluting parts cleaning systems. Applicants must apply BEFORE purchasing new equipment. The following air districts have adopted rules requiring the use of low VOC solvent to clean or degrease mechanical parts.

• Sacramento Area
  The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District's (SMAQMD) new requirements restricting solvent cleaning became effective on May 22, 2003. For more information, please see the Compliance Assistance Advisory posted at their web site.

• San Francisco Bay Area

• San Joaquin Valley
  The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District's (Valley Air District) organic solvent degreasing operations rule became effective on October 19, 2002. The Valley Air District includes Fresno, Kings, Tulare, Madera, Stanislaus, San Joaquin and Merced Counties, and the Valley portion of Kern County. Please see their brochure for more information.
